We just bought our first RV a 2003 Sightseer workhorse, 6000 miles 250 hrs on gen. Is there anything we should be aware of?? Also gave 30,000 does that sound like a good price? We are looking forward to hitting the road soon.

Welcome ...What chassis is the Sightseer on...There is a brake recall on the W22....You can register your rig at PRODUCTS and go to my workhorse and register your vin #. You can check for any recalls not done. My Bounder was on that chassis and I loved it. With so few miles that seems like a great price .Good Luck ..and keep us updated on your adventures... D

Check the dates on your tires, 5-7 years max before replacement ESPECIALLY with your low mileage. You might consider joining the Winnebago Itasca Travelers (WIT) a travel club sponsored by the factory with state clubs and local chapters. Expect problems but welcome to a great lifestyle, with lots of help here.

I'd say, very cool, but no photos, never happened.
May you enjoy many happy (s)miles in your phantom RV.

Is it a Workhorse W20 or W22? There are a couple of tips I can give you if it is.

We have had our 30 B for almost 5 years and 25,000 miles of almost trouble free service. Learn how to get up and keep up the sealant around the roof edge and you should be fine. Ever inch of space is used to the good on this floor plan. Do not Forget to turn your front chairs around to give it even more space and sitting for guest . You will love this floor plan we do .
