Well ordered a new 2011 Sightseer 35J today with a lots of bells and whistles. Will be at dealer around Sept 1st . Had a Class C since 2006 Fleetwood 31m. Very nice Class C but needed to upgrade for more room. Looking forward to moving up to Class A .

Congratulations. Know you can't wait to get it. Our Sunova 35J (same thing just Itasca) is three years old and we've loved every minute of having it. Its a great family coach. We just finished a 6800 mile around the country loop and it performed admirably. I know you'll have many happy miles in yours.
Steve.

Working with the Dealer was great bought it in Baton Rouge, La were I bought my Class c. Miller RV great people there. I went to the same sale person I did to buy the Class c in 06 Buddy Abadie gave us a great deal with trade in. We added a lot of options and in the deal they are going to install a in motion satellite dish . Did not get full body paint saved a lot of money. Went with a Mojave Mist paint on exterior. Will have 3 TV inside and one outside. Went with Duo Solar/Night Roller Shades. I like those better than the ones came standard. Went with a Ford Chassis w/22.5 tires. Windows Dual Glassed Thermo Insulated windows. 2 side and one rear camera, Exterior Entertainment Center with 32 in TV and CD/DVD. Have to watch my LSU Tigers and the WHO DATS Saints when camping.

So, when you order this way, rather than buying off the lot, do you think you can cut as good a deal? We may end up ordering, so I am curious about this.

SF Bob,
We bought from a dealer back in 2007, and I thought we ended up with a good deal. I detailed the process that we used in our blog, with the primary entries related to dealing with the dealer in February of 2007. I was very happy with this process and think I got a better deal that I ever would have working with a single dealer for something that was sitting on the lot.

I think from getting prices from other dealers I made a good deal. We were looking at a Gerogetown 350TS with bunks and it was 1500 more with less options and it was on the lot. I payed 122,599.00 with them paying off my Class C in the deal .
