Keyless Entry Problem

We have the keyless entry system that utilizes the fob. We have 4 fobs and all 4 quit working. I replaced a battery in one of the fobs in an effort to see if that was the problem. The new battery had no effect. I cleaned all the electrical connections to the receiver module which had no effect either. My latest effort was going through the reprogramming of the fobs routine. And that didn't have any effect either. I have checked that there is 12vdc to the module. I am lost as to where to look for a solution. Anyone have any thoughts????

My fobs died in the spring and the dealer ended up replacing the receiver module.

Mine quit and I had to replace the module about $146 as I remember

Mine was only working sporadically so I posted a on irv2. I was told to take a pencil eraser and rub it over the contacts inside the door to clean them off. IT WORKED . Haven't had a problem since. I passed this along to a friend at GNR who was having the same problem and it worked for him too. I can't take credit for this fix, but I'm happy to pass along the idea!

Use to do that with contacts on printed circuit boards in my other life. Removes any oxidation on contacts.

Thanks for all the comments. I called SCS Frigette who makes the unit. They asked if when trying to reprogram teh receiver unit would start clicking. Mine does not click anymore. They advised that the receiver as defective ans would need to be replaced. I do have a spare at home from previous problems with this accessory and will install it when we get home from Canada. Thansk again.
