King Tailgater VQ 4500 - Rooftop Mounting

I did a search and didn't find what I'm looking for, sooo. I've got a 2003 Itasca Horizon. I don't know what to expect for roof thickness. Is it solid material (3/4" plywood) or whatever over the entire surface or do I have to try to find some joists? Trying to determine screw length. The mounting holes are small, looks like a #8 screw would be about max diameter. I was thinking about 1" length would probably work but would use longer if possible.

Has anyone done this and have some insight for me?

Thanks, Phil

I had my dealer install the optional brackets. They allow the the dish to be semi-perm. mounted. Basically the 3 brackets are mounted & sealed to the roof, allowing you to remove & move the dish if you are blocked by trees. I like it because i don't have to store & position & unroll the cable every time we get somewhere. Iam LAZY!!!
