Ladder issues

We are in the process of replacing a damaged rear ladder on our Vista 35F.
When the damage occurred, not only did it bend the ladder, but also pulled one side of the roof rivets out of the roof. Removing the rivets caused some of the fiberglass to come out where the rivet was.

What is the best was to re-secure the ladder to the roof. One thought was putting an epoxy in the holes, then inserting new rivets and/or bolts into the epoxy. Thoughts please. TIA

If your sure the fiberglass is not cracked, delaminated, or otherwise damaged, using epoxy and new fasteners should work. If in doubt, you could use aluminum plate to fashion larger landing pads for the ladder anchor points and move the fasteners to a wider footprint on the roof.
