We have a 03 Sightseer 30b. Has anyone replaced their old tv with a new and larger lcd tv? How did you mount it and what size tv did you install. Thanks!

I don't have the same coach as you but I replace the 24" tube TV with a 32" Sony in our previous coach. I could get to the bottom of the tv cabinet so it made it very easy. Photos at: Flat LCD Installation in 2007 FourWinds Hurricane 34N - ronniesphotos' Photos

I used a flat non-adjustable wall mount and a couple of pieces of 2" angle to mount it. I our current coach I replaced the 24" tube TV with a 32" Coby LED/LCD TV. I could not get to the bottom so I used 4 pieces of angle alumnimum to mount it. One piece at the top and bottom were bolted to the TV box, the other two were bolted vertically to the back of the TV. I then bolted those two pieces directly to the top and bottom pieces then used trim to cover the mounts. Sorry, no photos for this one.

If you do a search on here you'll find a bunch of people who have pulled out the old TVs and installed newer LCD or now LED TVs. We pulled ours out and installed a 32" Vizio, mounting it on a swing arm attached to the right inside of the old TV opening. Two years afterwards it's still doing great!

Here are pictures of my 32" LED TV install in a 2005 Sightseer 29R. Consumer Reports said the TV I picked had a great picture and bad sound so I added a sound bar to my install. It works and travels well.

I mounted a 32" Samsung LED unit in our MH. Rebuilt the box to fit and gained a bunch of storage. Need to put the padding and vinyl back on though.
I also took out the rear TV and got a mount to install a new Samsung LCD there. Actually it's a computer monitor and TV and it's a little smaller than I really wanted there but I already had it so I decided to use it.

If you don't mind...which swing arm mount did you go with? I'm having a bear of a time trying to find one that will swing and lock or swing and stay w/an "shock"
