LCI leveling system. Here we go again.

I've posted before about the poor quality of LCI products. Here we go, again.

While traveling to Dover, DE for the NASCAR race last week, my jack motor (directly below the drivers seat) would power up for a couple of seconds, and the control panel inside the coach would activate, beep, and lights flash. It would do this every few minutes. I turned the system off, and it continued to act up. It got so the thing would power up every few seconds while traveling.

I texted LCI while in a parking lot. Tech told me this is possible caused by any of 3 problems. Fluid low, which would not allow the fluid level sensor to detect full level; Fluid level sensor, or, the pressure switch failure. The pressure switch failure could also react like the pressure was low if there was a leak in a line, or elsewhere.

Topped off the fluid. Still have the problem. Only now it happens almost immediately upon starting the coach.

I previously had a jack motor failure with the LCI system. Also had a slide motor problem with LCI system.

I will never buy another MH that has LCI systems installed.

Anyone else experienced this issue?

An update.

Prepared the MH for winter storage. While parking brake is engaged, the jacks work fine. Release the brake and the LCI leveling system goes berserk immediately. Called LCI, spoke with tech rep, he again says it sounds like a pressure problem. Going to wait until spring to solve issue. LCI = JUNK

Our system did the same as yours. Pump would start, run for a second.

Our system relies on the pressure switch sensing quite a high pressure to prove the jacks are retracted. We have no low level switch.
If the pressure senses low pressure for a set time the "jacks retracted" alarm comes on, something you do not want to hear while driving down the road.

We also have a hydraulic slide tied into system.
A few years back one of the cups on a ram on the slide was passing and bleeding off pressure in the control block, requiring the pump to run to boost the pressure.

Our system allways runs for a bit when the engine starts and the e brake is off. Ensures the legs are fully retracted.

You have to ask yourself why do you have to top up fluid in the tank.
Where did the oil go on a closed system?
