We have a 2004 Minnie, and recently discovered a little water on the floor. After a little troubleshooting, I found that water is leaking from the connection to the hot water side of the galley faucet. It's miserable to access this area, it was about all I could do to cram myself into that little space and reach up to that fitting. The fitting was loose enough to turn with my hand. It consists of the female connector on the bottom of the faucet, a 2" male nipple, and the connector body on the end of the plastic water line. The end of the line is cone-shaped.
I noticed that when I turned the connector body, the nipple turned with it. I managed to remove the connector and nipple, and examined them carefully, finding no damage to the threads, etc. I applied teflon pipe tape to the threads of the nipple and screwed it back into the faucet body. I reconnected the water line by its connector body. Everything nice and tight, it leaks even worse than before.
I am wondering if something's missing from this assembly, or it someone before me has done some "Mickey Mouse" work. We've owned this MH for about a year, so it's only new to us. I have pored over Winnebago's parts lists and drawings, and read many forum postings, but I have yet to see what this connection should really look like.
Any help to an old fat guy presently sitting with a hot pad on his neck and taking Ibuprofen to counteract spending the day jammed into that tiny cabinet will be greatly appreciated.

The seal should be that litte cone shaped rubber piece. They are replaceable on some lines, just pry it out and go to the hardware store. That particular joint does not need to be wrapped with teflon tape if the rubber seal is good.

Just in case anyone looks at this thread in the future: I solved the problem by replacing the faucet. The original faucet was pretty cheap, and the plastic threads on the connectors were probably damaged, although I couldn't see anything obvious. When I installed a new ("real" house quality) faucet and connected the lines directly to it without the adapters that were used to connect to the last one (not sure what they were for, and may have been the real problem for all I know) the leak stopped. Whew.
While I was at it I dropped a brand new faucet in the washroom, too. What an improvement over that piece of plastic junk that was in there!
