Leaking slide

I have a leak near the fridge on my 2014 journey 42e. I think it is coming in where the slide has its two pieces connected. Of course it is under the cover when extended(which also has two nail head size holes). Can I use the same stuff on the slide as I would use on the roof to repair? Thanks for any tips

boba1106, We had a leak in the slide on our 03 Journey on the top seam close to the outside edge. Ran a strip of Eternabond tape over the seam. Eternabond is nice and flat did not affect the upper seal. Moving the topper out of the way was not bad. Two person job and be careful with the retract spring.
