I have a '07 Adventurer and have never used a pressure regulator. I returned to the MH after working for about 10 hours and discovered my toilet bowl full of water. The water pressure was 75psi and may have been more during the day considering a long run if hose in the sun. My trusted RV tech told me to install a pressure regulator, which I did. On another day the same thing happened, that time with the PR at 50psi. Any thoughts? Could the use at high pressure for so long have weakened the valve? Should I just replace the valve and start over?

You're lucky you didn't return to a flooded coach. The water valve on mine failed, filled the bowl and ran over onto the floor. Fortunately I caught it before things got too wet. The water valve on the Thetford model in our coach was easy to replace without having to remove the toilet. Until I received the replacement valve, I installed a ball valve shut off valve in line and used it to insure no more leaks.

You didn't weaken the valve with that limited pressure, but you do need to use a good pressure regulator. The valve can stick and leak a bit if it gets some grit in it ...do you use a sediment filter outside? The flush lever on my Sealand toilet needs a bit of lube occasionally to keep it working well.

My valve leaked once a few years ago, but not since I've been using a sediment filter & making sure the lever works freely. I still have the same valve, but did have to replace the spring cartridge last year. The flapper & water valve don't close at all w/o that spring !
