We have a 2008 Sightseer. In our previous motor home we replaced the tail light assembly with LED versions and it made a big difference in visibility. Are similar assemblies available for the Sightseer? If so, where is the best place to purchase them?
Thanks to all who share their knowledge.

Try the add links on the right.
We got our custom tailights on line, and the LED bulbs from the local auto parts store.
07 Adventurer tail lights are from the Ford SportTrac. Not sure what the 08 Sightseer uses. Googling the part number stamped on them will tell you.
Warning: You may have to cut & trim to make them fit.

I think the Sightseer has the same tailights as my Journey. Search on here for a thread titled "Journey Taillights" and you can see how mine came out

I'm not sure that's correct. Here's the rear end of a 2008 Sightseer and it doesn't look anything like our Journey/Meridian tail lights:

If you check out the LED lights section (or stop at a MAJOR truck stop like the I-80 (I think that's in Iowa) or the I-75 Chrome Shop (I think Florida) you will likely find a matching LED assembly
or you can just get LED replacement bulbs.. Some of them are downright BRIGHT (Try Barjan, any truck stop will have 'em)
Now tail lights come in basically two types.. One is the replacable blub type (BarJan should have a LED bulb for you there) the other is something like the sealed assembly they stuck me with.. However the one I have is a common sealed assembley and BarJan has it in their catalog too.
Barjan is related to Tekonsha Engineering makers of the Prodigy Brake controllers.
