Level Locations

When I level my 2008 Sight Seer 26 foot motorhome, where is it suggested I put my level. I know I need to keep the fridge within parameters, but none of the other locations such as table, floor, drain board, bed match. I can't rely on the auto system so need to do it semi manually. This is strictly a curiosity question,or is there a way to adjust the auto system?

Some refer manufacturers say to use the refer as a basis for leveling. In fact I used to use one of the small bubble levels inside the refer to level the rig. Now I have a residential unit so no longer as much of a problem.

And yes, your leveling system is adjustable. How depends on the make and even model of your system.

I use the counter top. Is it the same as floor, probably not. Also not the same as the fridge I suspect. If you're comfortable in the coach it's probably fine. The fridge needs to be level or close too but perfection isn't necessary. They run fine running down the road which is seldom level.

In a previous coach I used the kitchen countertop. Current coach I use the tile floor just behind the front seats, and double check towards the rear on the tile just before the bedroom.

It really matters not a whole lot where you check. Just as long as you are comfortable and consistent.

when leveling for the fridge was necessary I had the level sitting on the door armrest next to me. as long as at least half the bubble was in the bulls eye it was level enough. no problems over the 30-yrs we did it that way.

We level per the shower door & throne room door. Unlatched & standing open, if they don't move, we are level. Auto level first, then fine tune as necessary per the doors.

The floor beside my driver's seat is flat and level relative to our fridge. I open a Bubble Level app on my iPad and place it on the floor. Its large display makes it easy to see the bubble for level and it also provides the +/- degrees so you know how far you are off and enables you to adjust the level spot-on.

I originally leveled my rig on a concrete pad, using a bubble level in the refrigerator. (I double checked with a two foot level on the kitchen floor). I then put two of those bubble levels - the stick on kind- one fore and aft, the other side to side, located near the leveling pendant controls. Now, no problem. Level after dropping the fifth wheel off the truck. Motor home procedure may vary!

level

I leveled MH with bubble level in freezer. Then put stick on bubble levels in the drivers area. One side to side (on dash) and one front to back (on drivers door frame). When both are level fridg is level. HWH level control is left of steering wheel. I can easily adjust from drivers seat.
The fridg is slightly out of level/square with coach. not enough to bother but might fix that one of these days.
