Leveling

My 2007 Winnebago Adventurer has the HWH hydraulic computerized automatic leveling system (Series 625). When using the auto level mode, the system does not level the rig. I searched the forum and found a couple of posts that seem to indicate that the system can be tweaked or reset to correct the problem, but I can't find anything on the internet that explains how to do this.

Never had a problem with mine but several members here have talked about HWH's excellect customer service. You may want to go to their website or give them a call.

Pull out your large spiral binder that you received in your Winnebago bag. It is called Operator Manual Supplement. Go to section 10 which is the instructions for your HWH Slideout/Leveling. You will find instructions in this section about how to adjust your leveling pad settings so that you will be able to level properly and automatically.

It's a simple procedure:

1. level the coach manually
2. adjust the left-right and front-back adjustments on the control box (refer to documentation previously cited) until out of level LEDs extinguish
3. test your settings by letting jacks auto level
4. readjust as necessary

You might need to do this adjustment procedure every few months - it seems like I need to tweak mine every year.

Yep it happens occassionally. Mine was so far out when they replaced my new control box that the first time i used it thought the rig was going to tip over.

follow instructions, first make sure all the led's are the color they are suppose to be, then level with bubble, adjust controller, release and then relevel agin. May take a couple of time but directions arer pretty clear.

I did what you describe a couple of times. The third time I adjusted the sensor, I put a couple of globs of silicon under the sensor adjuster to support it. That seems to have kept the sensor from shifting for about 8 months of travel so far. You will need to give it time to dry before moving the coach.
