We have the computer table model of our 2006 Meridian 36G. The double light fixture over the table has bulbs that are different from anything else in our coach, except for the fixture behind the sofa. The bulbs pull straight out, and are small, rather oddly shaped bulbs with no metal on the outside of the bulb at all. One of these has burned out, and I'm wondering if anyone knows the wattage and if I can replace it at a local store, or if I need to go to the supplier where I replace our halogen reading lights?

Camping World or any RV supply should have them. If I remember right, they come in a pack of 2. Just take one of the old ones with you

I have the same type of bulbs in the fixture over my dinette table. I believe you will find they are wedge bulbs like these, 12-Volt 912 11.6 Watt Wedge Bulb (10 Pack) - eLights. They come in a variety of model number so not sure which one yours is. Some of the model numbers are: 194, 516, 579, 901, 904, 906, 912, 915, 916, 917, 918, 920, 921, 922, 923.

Thanks! The wedge type is exactly what it is. Any idea if I can buy them in a Radio Shack or Hardware store? Campingworld online at least doesn't have them.

I would try an automotive store, they have lots of 12v bulbs. Maybe they will carry these type?

Is there anyone monitoring from Winnebago who would know what wattage they are? I've found lots of resources on the internet, but they vary in wattage from 4 to 10+

You might check here with one of the forum sponsors. RV Light Bulbs
You could also give Lichtsinn Mtrs parts dept a call as they are a Winnie dealer and are located about 1 mile from the Winnebago plant in Iowa.

You might take a look at this one (and this site) also look for the "T5" lamps on this site.
LEDLight.com LED Lights, LED Lamps, LED Bulbs Search Results 32584
I plan to change to about 6 of these in the spring , changing out the bulbs in the "bullet" shaped reading lamps which get very hot with standard bulbs.

Also try Home Depot/Lowes, look in the section for low-voltage yard lights. Both the two-prong and wedge shaped bulbs used in outdoor low voltage lights work fine in many RV interior lights... use them all the time myself.

You might want to consider replacement / upgrade with a LED
I have the very same fixture it had 18w wedge bulbs - heated the fixture to where you were burned if touched it
I replaced them with HIgh Power SMT LED bulbs
Expect to spend some $$ if you go this route
Very close to the same amount of light and NO heat issues
Plus the added benefit of 200ma current draw Vs 3 or 4 amps
If you do go the LED route get the good ones otherwise stay with the incandescent bulbs

If you go to this Service Parts List page on the Winnebago web site you can put in your Winnebago serial number and get a complete itemized parts list for your particular coach. You can then check the Winnebago R.V. Parts and Accessories Catalog to find the desired parts you need.
