"Lippert Jacks"

We have a 2013 Winnebago Journey 40U! Had this for about 4 weeks.
On our maiden voyage. We are from Ft.Worth, Tx. Now in northernen NY.
The right front jack , on Auto level, comes down about a inch and stop.
Go manual and it will go all the way to the ground . They all will
Auto retract. Now I have discovered that when you extend on
Manual, the left side bleeds off. I assume that it is a valve.
I hate to admit this . Where is the pump and the oil reservoir.
Does it take it from the powere steering?

It should be a totally separate system. Mine is in the same area as the LP tank. When you check the oil level have the jacks retracted. On mine the cap on top unscrews and has a dipstick attached. Check without screwing cap back in. This also where oil is added, so a small funnel is required. Mine is a HWH system and uses Dextron ll or equivalent automatic transmission fluid if the HWH fluid is unavailable, per owners manual.
FWIW, Camping World is a Winnebago dealer, a phone call (service desk) will find out where everything is located.

Did not see any thing in the manual about it being under the step.
But , that being said that is where it was.
Called the dealer where I bought it, said it should be in the
Front compartment, or in the LP. Compartment.
Called Winnebago customers service, they said in the LP
COMPARTMENT. MakEs us look smarter all the time!!!!!
THANKYOU.
