Has anyone ajusted their living room slide (vertical adjustment). Was doing some cleaning and noticed with the slide extended that the top seal does not touch the top of the slide.

We have a 2004 39W Journey ... our living room slide was starting to leave "black marks" on the carpeting ... and the trim did not line up when the slide was brought in ...

I stopped by HWH for some jacks maintenance and requested that they adjust my slide ...

After running it in and out a couple of times ... and a conference among three techs ... one of them crawled underneath and adjusted a couple of bolts (they have lock nuts on them) about 2 full turns ...

the black marks went away ... and the trim lines up on the outside now ...

So I suggest you call HWH and ask them which bolts need to be adjusted ... you may have to send them a couple of digital pictures but I will bet they will be able to help you

I didn't know HWH would give telephone help with their mechancism. I called them a couple years ago for help with my living room slide because it was marking the carpet and they told me they weren't allowed to give consumers advise concerning the adjustments and I'd just have to go to the coach factory. Unfortunately all Winny (after two visits to Forest City for the living room adjustment) is concerned with is that the outside trim all aligns with the slide and the rest of the coach.
But I'll certainly give them another call. I'm getting tired of using plastic poster board under the front and back of the slide everytime its run in and out to keep the slide from marking the carpet. And after Winny's last try the slide really imprints the carpet where it rests on the carpet when its run in.
