LuckyMick: Removal of bedroom tv.

LuckyMick:

Yesterday, I replied to your inquiry regarding removal of the tv in the rear bedroom (this applied to my 2004 Winnebago Journey, 36 G).

I found that my message was not complete and clear in at least one respect. This is a note to add what was missing.

In the original message, I was describing how to remove the left and right bolts that held down the metal band that went around the tv. To get at the screw head of the bolt that runs up and is secured by the nut, you will have to remove a thin veneer of facing wood below the cabinet. This is held in place in the front and back by four small phillips head screws. Once you lower this thin veneer panel, you will easily see the heads of the bolts that run up thru the thicker plywood bottom and are secured by the nuts to the left and right of the tv. Proceed to hold the nuts in place with a socket, and with a decent sized phillips head screwdriver, you can turn the bolt heads underneath. You'll have the band loosened and removed in a short time. Sorry, not to have mentioned the thin veneer sheet. If you simply looked under the cabinet that held the tv, you wouldn't see the bolt portion.
