manual discrepancy?

I have a 2002 40 foot ultimate adventure, I'm a newbie and any help would be appreciated. I'm reading up on my batteries, which are all brand new. My manual on page 2-22 under AUXILIARY BATTERY SWITCH talks about (coach batteries). However when I look at 6-10 / 6-11 under BATTERY INFORMATION, it lists Cassis Battery and House Battery. My question is are the CHASSIS BATTERIES AND COACH BATTERIES THE SAME THING ?

Coach or house batteries are for the lights and stuff in the rv. Chassis batteries are for starting

In 2006 Winnebago started installing a device that keeps both the chassis and coach batteries charged when you are plugged in to a 120 volt outlet.

The name of the device that I bought was called "Trick-L-Start" ... check to see if your coach has one ... if not I suggest you buy one and install it.

I installed one and it keeps both battery banks charged (before I installed it the chassis batteries would lose their charge when I was parked for long periods of time)

Helpful information

The Ultimate coaches (Advantage & Freedom) have no need for the Trik-L-start. The Ultimates had the B.I.R.D. system that charged both banks of batteries from any power source (alternator/gen/shore). The B.I .R.D. module was located in the power bay under the driver seat.
