Manual slide-out operation

Just purchased a 2004 Sightseer 35N with 3100 miles on it. While doing the "walk thru" with the mechanic at the dealership, he couldn't show me how to manually move the bedroom slide-out. It doesn't seem to have the same operation as the living room slide-out. ( using the two cranks ) There is an access panel under the bed that allows sight of the screw drive and motor. Any help greatly appreciated and hopefully will never actually be needed in this dilemma.

Hello,
If you received a tool kit with the rig there should be a ratcheting box end wrench included. If you do not have the wrench Sears will.
In the access hole under the bed at the end of threaded shaft there is a hex portion for the wrench to turn. Turn it one way for out and the other for in.
I have not tried this on our coach and imagine it would take a while but at least, in the event of a electrical problem it is an option.
By the way I believe that your slides are moved by Kwikee Mechanisms, it should say so on the switch panels.

I thought that the manual mechanism was just for moving the slides back in - not for extending the slide. Also, I thought that my bedroom slide was a manual PUSH to retract rather than using the threaded rods.

Do you have the HWH or the Kwikee slide? The Sightseer has the Kwikee slide which is electric motor driven rather than hydraulic as the HWH is.

Doug,
I believe that your 07 Suncruiser has HWH slides, completely different animal.
Look at the slide control switches, does it say HWH?

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I'll have to look closer, but I don't believe it came with a tool kit.
Does anyone have an idea what I am doing incorrectly that the photo I saved in my profile is not showing up in my posts?

Sorry. Yes, my Suncruiser has HWH slides. I was assuming that the poster had HWH also.
