Just wanted to give a great big thanks to all in this forum. Because of illness I was not able to get my MH "winterized" or get heat on inside in time for the 13deg weather last November. It stood filled with water and of course froze right up. When I finally got there the main filter housing was split, the filter under the sink frozen solid and pools of water under the coach at the water heater and water station. Well after lots of research on water heaters, pump replacement etc I finally got the beast to my home and connected the city water to establish exactly how many leaks I had and what I needed to replace. I cant believe that the water heater appears to be ok and apart from the filters I had two or three minor leaks. It is the sharing of knowledge by this forum's members that makes what look at first like major problems very manageable for us newbies and helps us to approach things from many different angles. (the pump that would not prime...disconnect at inlet until water flows then reconnect). I know I will have a lot more "I dont know the answer" moments but I sure know where to come when it happens. Thank you contributors.
regards from a grateful..
John

Glad a bad situation turned out to be not so bad John. Makes one wonder what all those newbies who haven't discovered this forum are doing out there!

Before you know it, you'll be handling out valuable advice of your own based on experience!

Hope your health issues are resolved or at least under control.

Rick

Just in case you haven't already found them, here are the plumbing diagrams for your coach: 2001 Journey DL 36LD Plumbing.

Good News John, I hope that you have completely recovered from your illness. This Forum is fantastic! Just the other day I decided to put a locking gas cap on my coach and thanks to the Workhorse forum I found the correct number and ordered it. Who could have imagined that a 2001 Chevrolet Caviler gas cap would fit a 2007 W24 Workhorse chassis. Well it does and thanks to this forum it was easy to figure out.
Best of luck and happy travels.

Thank you all for your responses and best wishes for my health. I am happy to report that I am back to the "new normal" that we all assume after the age of......well, we won't go into that. The "mousetrap" (my DW's nickname for the Winnie) is once again in prime shape and we are looking forward to making several shortish trips this year while planning a "Round America" tour starting in the fall of next year, god willing.
Thanks again
John
