On my 04 Adventurer on WH chassis. I knew about the headlight dimmer turning on the map light. I just noticed the drivers door jam had a switch to operate that map light. Switch is bad. I have the part number. 041250-01-000 Appears the same as the compartment light switch. I took out the two screw holding the door jam switch but could get the switch to come out to replace it. Any tricks to this? There appears to be no access from behind.

Two screws and it comes out.

Those switches are junk. Picked up a via Amazon when I was buying something else so I got free shipping, still paid like $5 each.

I took out the two screws and the switch starts to come out and stops. Can't tell if the switch wires or the body of the switch are holding it from coming out.

Agree on the switch quality but have no choice. If I order one I'm going to get a few spares as they match the compartment doors as well.

Meant to write picked up a couple, right, I should have gotten more.

I just had to wiggle it out. The wires go forward a few inches inside the wall and then under the dash out a hole. There's a panel that hides that hole in mine, but some don't have that panel.

Winnebago wired the dome light switch wrong in my Ford. Ford uses the switches in the jambs and the headlight switch to ground a relay so the switches see very little current. Winnebago wired it so the switches ground the relay AND the lights. In mine I can hear the relay click, but I can remove it and the lights still function. I have plans to rewire it before I get another headlight switch, my second replacement.

And I think I paid more like $6 they are $6.25 on Amazon right now Dorman universal jamb switch And remembering more, the connectors were slightly different. Might be best off with the Winnebago ones.
