The master cylinder on my workhorse W24, the pressure switch had been broke off. What do the pressure switch on the master cylinder do? Should the pressure switch been repair or replace? I have over 1,000 miles with the switch off of the master cylinder with no problem.

hello
i have one off those on my ford f-150 pickup and it was recalled . seems they shorted out and caused fires . so there you go recall i asked the tech what that thing did he said it was for the cruise control . when you apply the brake it dissengauges the cruise control i don"t know if yours is for that but it might be dave sr
