Meridian 39N 2010

Does anyone have experience with the Itasca Meridian 39N. I am looking at a 2010 with 16000 miles.
I will be trading my 2006 Meridian 36 SE in on it.

We traded our 2003 Horizon in on a 2010 Winnebago Journey 39n, essentially the same as the Itasca model you are looking at. Ours was brand new, 1600 miles when purchased in June 2010. We moved into it, for full time living a month later, but stayed parked for most of the first 18 months.
We went through the usual warranty fixes the first year, a few electrical fixes, a few plumbing adjustments, a door hinge replacement, etc. Nothing really major, our dealer (Roy Robinson in Marysville WA) did all the repairs and a few additions for us, very happy with the results.
We took out the bunk beds, and converted into an office, and went on the road in December 2011. Been up and down the Pacific Coast, and Rocky mountains three times now.
We have taken the rig in for scheduled maintenance at Freightliner, added a few things, and the rig seems to be working very well. We really like the floor plan. The 340 Cummins isn't a speed demon, but we tow a jeep, and it gets us down the road just fine. Good mileage on the flats around 10mpg, in the hills and mountains around 8mpg.
We have been in freezing weather, over 100 in AZ, windy, rainy, sunny, and always comfortable. I know various RV's can have individual personalities, but ours seems to be a pretty good one.

Thanks for the information. Sorry I am slow in responding put have not completely figured how to use the site.
We have decided to keep our 2006 Meridian 36SE for now.
I just retired two weeks ago and we are planing our first long trip.

Great to go on a long trip, now that you are retired. There will always be lots of deals on different RVs in the future.

The more you travel and use yours in your new life situation, the more you will know if the one you have meets those needs, or a different RV would be better.

It is a lot cheaper to make modifications to the one you have, and get it just right, vs getting a different rv. The only thing you really can't do much with, is the floor plan, and if the floor plan of your current rig suits you, perhaps some updates and modifications will keep it fresh for you.

For us, the 39n floorplan is absolutely perfect for how we live, and until our lifestyle changes, we plan on keeping this one.

Thank you. We are really looking forward to the trip.
The 40 foot coach provides just the right amount of extra room. I think that we may eventually go to it. we just could not come to an agreed price on the 2010 39N.
There was some small items that my 36SE has that this 39N did not have.
But the king bed and the additional storage in the bunk area would have been nice.
