Question MicroQuiet won't start

I have a 2004 Minne. It has a gas MicroQuiet 4000 that will not start. It has not been used in over a year.

I'm guessing at this point that the carb is gummed up but I am not sure.
Any suggestions on where to start my search as to the problem?

It was turning over but now it just clicks when I push the start button.

Also how do I get the fault codes?

Did you hold the start button the other direction to prime it. You should here it clicking as it primes. If you have not run it for some time it will need alot of priming before it will start. Charge battery and give it another try, priming it until it fires. If your carb is gummed up, then thats another story.

No, I have only tried to start it from inside at the control panel.

OK. I Primed it and I do hear the clicking as it primed. I then tried to start it and................NOTHING. It has a fault code of 32.

I always run my engine when cranking the generator. It seems to help. I suspect you have a clogged fuel filter, and probably a fouled carb.
