We have a Half-Time Oven in our coach. Combination Micro and Convection. The microwave stopped working so I took the coach to the dealer in Tucson. I was told that my extended warranty covered all but the $100 deductible. I received a call later and was told that no one in Tucson will work on an RV micro with an extended warranty so it would have to be shipped to the manufacturer. Now it will be interesting to see if my extended warranty covers the shipping. I will let you know.
What do you think? Joe

Check with your extended warranty company and see if they will let you pay for the work in Tucson then send the bill to them for reimbursement. I've done this several times with Good Sam Warranty in places the shop was hesitant to do the work otherwise and had no problems with this arrangement. It means a little out-of-pocket expense for a short time but sure beat the hassle of doing something different.

I asked the dealer and he said that he couldn't find anyone willing to work on it. The locals want to just do a replacement, but the warranty company said that it has to be sent to the manufacturer to be repaired, not replaced. Joe

Perhaps if you called Apollo, they might be able to provide you with a service company in your area:

Midwest Sales and Service, Inc. / Apollo Ovens
(800) 772-7262

Eh!

I picked up the coach today. The extended warranty paid for the replacement of three water line connectors and the microwave circuit board with shipping costs to the east coast included. They paid almost $700 and I had to pay one deductible of $100. So far I am happy with this warranty.

Happy Travels, Joe
