Minnie Winnie 22R Solar Install

I'm looking at adding roof top solar to our Minnie Winnie 22R. I would like know where and how you ran the down haul cables from the roof and where did you place the solar controller?

Other installation details would also be nice.

Often people use the rooftop refrigerator vent as a chase to lead the wires down under the RV. If you don't have a vent on the roof, you could use the black or gray tank vent as a way down into the compartments. Drill a hole into the vent above the tank and use a snake to run the wires to the roof. Seal the hole in the vent when the wires are in position. As to the controller, in a dry compartment or interior that wires are a short run from the roof and the batteries.

Thanks for the comment. I've installed solar on RVs before, but I'm hoping to get solutions specific to a Minnie 22R.
