We have noticed black spots on our ceiling in the living room, they would be hidden with the slide in. This was about a year ago while in Florida. We washed the ceiling with a mild soap with a small amount of bleach. They so far have not returned. Now we have noticed black spots on the bedroom ceiling, and also where the slide comes in. We are now in Az and it has not rained since Dec, and hardy no humidy. I might add that complete roof has been recaulked. The spots are on the opposite side of the bathroom-shower.
My question is has anyone experianced spots, on their vinyl ceiling ? I will appreciate any information !

You have water on top of your slideouts. When you bring the slides in the water splashes on the ceiling. If you have a large patio awning over the slide on the curb side of the coach and it has rained recently, open the awning and let it drain well before you travel. We have had the same problem, especially where the patio awning is. Rarely on the bedroom slide. Water will get under the slide topper especially if the wind accompanies the rain.

I will 2nd NoMo. I occasionally get black mold spots just about where the living room slide retracts. Of course being from Western Washington I thought it was interior decorations at first.
