Here are some upgrades I did to our 2004 Journey 36G. Sorry about the picture size. I'm trying to fix that.

To do this, I bought a round bare wood single-pedestal table and finished it. For travel tie-downs, I used the hardware from the front slide travel strap and fabricated new straps.

I took the idea of these splashes from the 2007 Elipse, drew up the plans and Vendura (OEM) made them for me.

The front floor tiles came from Nafco (OEM) and are exactly the same as the galley floor. Note that the tile extends under the driver's feet. I used 1/8 inch masonite as underlayment.

The escutchions around the ceiling lights are one-piece cutouts made from 1/4 inch veneer plywood stained to match the other wood. I needed to re-mount the lights to support the weight of the wood and accept the stress of holding everything together.

Would love to see the pics. It looks like you tried to load the photos into the message directly from your C: drive. You must log into the photo section of IRV2, upload the pics there. Once the uploaded photos are approved by the board administrators, you can then place them in the message.
