For some reason my motor aid has quit working. I did flush the radiator about 6 months ago. Do you think I might have an air pocket in the lines. Are they a place to blled the air from that system, in case that is the problem. It is on a 1997 Winnebago Adventurer 34 ft. Ford Frame.

I don't think there is a port for bleeding air from the cooling system. What I've done in the past is have the coach warm from driving, then parked on fairly steep upgrade. Turn off the engine and let it cool for 15 minutes, then opened the radiator cap. I could see the coolant in the radiator was way down, even though it never seemed to want to draw any from the plastic coolant reservoir tank. I think having the coach nose-up on the hill brought the air bubble to the radiator. If I recall, I needed about a half gallon on antifreeze befoe it got up to where it should be inside the radiator.

Uncle Sam;
I have a 97 Adventure. I have never had that problem however I recently checked all the hoses on my system. There is no shut off or control that I saw. If the coolant is low it should effect the front heater also. I assume you have an auxillary heater in the rear like I do. I would recommend checking the hose that goes from the radiator cap to your reserve container. The system works out any air and refills itself through this reserve. A leaking or obstructed overflow hose will cause the system to eventually run low. After you have checked on this and if you find it is ok and system is not low, check for an obstruction in your motor aid system. A pluged heater core in rear heater will cause the system to not work.

Maybe I don't have a problem with the Motor Aid, I took the MH out and filled the gas tank yesterday. when I got back I crawled under it and felt the hoses that go from engine to rear heater and motor aid, they were hot but I still didn't get and heat from the water in the hot water tank. Maybe I am expecting too much, I read in the manual where it takes 2 hours for it to heat.

Uncle Sam, the motoraid was designed to give you hot water in your water heater tank by just driving down the highway; -no need to use propane and light up the water heater. And I can testify that it does generally take at least an hour of driving before you can expect fairly warm water from the hot water heater. I've been happy with the motoraid system, even thoough it's not very efficient and takes awhile... But when you've been driving say three or more hours to your destination, you've got hot water right away without having to turn on the water heater.
