I have a new (to me) 2001 class A Brave 33V. How do you remove the motor cover? I found a small hole at the bottom of the cover at the back but can not see how or if anything is there.

A hex wrench ( Allen) is inserted there, and turned to release the catch. ( someone on here will know the size). Also, if it has
never been off, there are a few screws near the front edge that have to be removed. The exact configuration varies, but my 04 33V had 2, one on teach side, close to the floor, and also close to the vertical part of the enclosure.I found mine by scraping along the carpet in that area with a small putty knife. They are a little diffucult to find, but they must be removed before the cover can be lifted...rgr...

the short part of a hex wrench fits in that hole. the hex wrench is 5/16''. the long part of the wrench is 4 3/4'' long, the short part is 2 7/8'' long. it is a big ''allen'' wrench. the winnebago supplied wrench should be in the big black satchel or the doghouse storage area.
the latch is a over center cam type latch, 3/4 turn ccw unlocks it. then the doghouse cover can be moved aft a couple of inches to clear the alignment fixtures in the front. then the cover can be lifted up. be careful not to tear the rubber seals.
on my moho, the 2 screws mentioned by rgrstndgby near the fwd bulkhead imbedded in the carpet were a pita to find. imho there is no need to reinstall them.
