Hello all,

I have some chassis and body damage with my '08 Sightseer. I live in the S.F. Bay area and would like to have some recomendations of shops to take it for repair. It's on a Ford F-53 chassis, and it has full body paint. I'm not happy with Concord Coach's reputation, although they are down the street from me. I would be willing to go to the Sacramento area as well if someone has good luck with any shops up there. Any feedback is welcomed. Thank you.

If this is an insurance repair, have you asked your insurance adjuster for help? I recently did some damage on my motorhome (don't ask) and didn't know where to take it. If you have Progressive they take over and send you to one of their approved vendors and they take care of everything. I couldn't be more happy with the end results. Also if you take it to their approved Vendor they warranty the repair for lifetime and guarantee that you will be happy. Good luck on your repair

R Mechanics in Livermore has a good reputation. I recently had work done there and was very satisfied. I had a leaking slide, they repaired and got the extended service contract to cover it. When I found more leakage they came to my storage lot in Rio Vista, took the coach back to their shop, found and repaired the leak at no charge and, were willing to deliver it back to the storage lot. I picked it up instead and took off for the weekend. I do not know about body repair, but I would give them a call.

Village RV in Roseville patched up our Trek several years back after an awning snafu. Did a good job on body work & paint, turned it around quickly.

I'm calling them now, but they are closed for lunch. I store mine in Rio Vista too. Thanks for the info.

I finally got it back on Sept. 4th....believe it or not, everything works. Thanks for recommending R Mechanic. It sure took a long time though.

We stayed at the Whispering Pines Rv park in Rincon, Ga for a week. From there it's just a few miles to Sanannah. We were very pleased

John,

Lots of body damage along the right side, jack replaced, frame shimmed back, new springs, utility bay replaced; more I can't remember. All I can say is that we will always buy Winnebagos. Any rv that can go through all this and can be driven away for hundreds of miles afterwords- is really well built.

Drew
