Cut on heat pump. Loud thumping must be a mouse nest. How long does it take to pull the heat pump fan and clean it out. Just a estimate please. I have a 2004 Itasca Meridan diesel. Fan is above hot water tank.

I've never seen one in that location. Take a look at the referenced link and see what you think then.

An experienced tech with right equipement (mainly something the right height to slide the unit out onto) can pull the unit and have it opened up in 10-15 min. Most places charge $300 or so labor just to pull it and put it back.
