Moving Coach 5 Feet

I back my Moho tight to a fence in the yard. Gives me more room toward the front of the house.

Often times I need to pull it up 5 to 10 ft to get into the back yard with wheelbarrow etc. How long should I let it "warm" up before I move it and how much does this hurt the engine?

Ichn, when I need to do this, I will move the coach after about the first minute of warm up, but then I leave it running for about 10 minutes (long enough to warm up & open the thermostat in the radiator cooling system). Then I'll shut 'er down.

Starting an engine is when it receives the most wear. And by oly letting it run for 5 or 10 minutes, you are at the point that there is a lot of condensation in the exhaust and the crankcase. During this warm up period, the engine mixture is running rich and will tend to have more fule/fuel fumes in the oil. You shut is down before it is completely warm and these fumes and moisture will cause an acid in the oil and leave acids laying in the exhaust system. By letting the engine and exhaust come up to full operting temperature and let all of the attached components operate at temperature for a period of time, it wll drive the moisture out of the oil.

If you plan to make these 5 to 10 miutes starts, be sure to change the oil on the recommended 3 month schedule regardless of mileage.

Nope, this transports my fishing gear from the storage to the boat as well as other things. Lots easier to push than tote.
Can't get rid of the gate either, its required by law for the swimming pool. Guess I could move.
