The thermostat for the front A/C/Heat pump is mounted in the hall outside
the bedroom. the rear ac/hp vents blow on the front thermostat making it not operate. Has anyone moved their thermostat and if you did how did you run the wiring? tom

Would it be possible to re-direct the vents so the air does not blow on the thermostat?

Do you have DUO-THERM control?
Wire may go to first AC unit.

This is what I do... close or redirect the vents forward/backward in the hall where the thermostat is.

On the off chance that anybody from Winnie sees this I'd like to say that I like the "One Place" concept well enough, but that the "forward" thermostat should really be some place "forward" in the coach. It stays plenty cold from the bunk and bath area back in our 35J. Not so much in the kitchen and couch area without a lot of vent micromanagement.

John Mo, we do the same as you, that's why I was wondering about moving the thermostat to the wall by the entrance wall or someplace in the living room. thanks for the reply. tom

I moved my rear thermostat. I cut the wires behind the connector and then spliced in additional wire with butt connectors. I used the same color wires to simplify trouble shooting. This also makes it easy to replace the thermostat if necessary.
