Over Hill, Over Dale!! Today towing my Fat Jeep, I got a fantastic 5.7 mpg. This is not a gripe by any means, just a statement of fact. I wouldn't trade either one of them!!
I did find out that when at 1/8th of a tank and the low fuel warning comes on, I have 14 gallons of gas left.

You didn't ask for a anything so here is a bunch of nothing.

How a person feels about fuel consumption is relative---I know I would feel just ducky if I had a relative who would pay for my gas.

5.7 seems on the thin side to me---but your rig is bigger and your "fat" Jeep may outweigh my CR-V. I get 7.5 consistently on average---I follow the towing speed limit which means 55 through California---but I was getting close to the 7.5 before they began inforcing 55.

Hey if 5.7 is fine with you it is OK by me---just watch that guage---and hope that light does not come on when you are ninety miles from the nearest refill. Happy traveling.

I average 6.7 mpg with my 38J Suncruiser and towing a Grand Vitara. I am loaded to nearly the maximum GVW.

Well, today it was 6.5. The hills---Snoqualmie(sp)Pass and down thru the Yakima Valley to Pendleton, Or are are a "Bear". From Pendleton to Jackpot, Nv are not so bad. And with the Banks System--what a ride. I thought I was driving a sports car. Now how is that for the beginning of a Winter in Las Vegas??

I know a guy, who says, anyone driving a Motorhome, shouldn't be worrying about gas milage. Basicily, he is right! LOL!! I just like to keep track of it because I can tell how much farther I need to go to get to the next fuel stop. I have always claimed, if I could have a motorhome that would get 10 mpg. I wouldn't go 100 miles away from home with out it. I'm still lookning! LOL!! The Discovery is averaging 9.6 on every trip to and from AZ-MI.

We will be at the Nellis AFB Fam Camp until about mid-April. A great place to winter.
I totally agree with the comments about milage. Maybe one day tho, I'll be able to out-brag the the guys with the big pushers.
Got 6.5 today. Makes me one happy fella!
And made it to Vegas. a safe, uneventful trip and I made several gas station owners happy.
Just as an aside, my boat burns a gallon of gas a mile. No matter how fast or how slow I go

We just did Austin, TX to Tupelo, MS. (800 miles) Some state highways and interstates. Pulling a Saturn Vue got 8.001 mpg. Cummins 330 with full Banks kit (440 hp) @ 65 mph on cruise control. No wind to speak of.

Getting 8.5mpg to 9.5mpg with our 2007 Journey towing a Lincoln MKX. I installed a M2020 powerpuck on the Cat C7 2 years ago, absolutely love it.

We have a Silverleaf computer that provides accurate mpg data. We get 8-8.5mpg very consistently towing our toad--36,500 pounds total.

Just completed 900 miles of our trip south. Averaged 8.82 with two construction delays of about an hour each, one accident delay of about the same length, one day of stiff winds, a trip through the mountains, carrying boxes of hubby's books and towing our Toyota Corolla. I drive 60mph when possible.

My late dad, who was a fervent RVer, said that if you had to worry about the cost of having an RV, you shouldn't have an RV. He also had other saying but I can't repeat most of them here.
