I have a 99 Adventurer and the clock mount is above the exit/entrance door. There is an opening about 6 inches wide with 2 1x4 pieces of wood mounted across the opening setting about 1 -2 inches deep. So it's hard to get into when working to put a clock into it. The last clock was velcroed to these two boards with several layers of velcro. Seems this is a constant problem. But the velcro won't hold and I've lost 2 clocks so far after dropping to the floor while driving. I'm looking for a little more of a permanent fix. Anyone gone through this or have an idea on a fix. I'm against the wall on this one. Thanks.

Not exactly knowing or seeing what your mounting place is or a Winne owner but I'll pass on what we had in our first RV. I noticed two decorator screws through the frame of the clock. Sure enough, that's what held the clock on the wall. Had to remove screws to chang battery.

Think about mirror mounts... I ave a clock in my "Radio Room" which is mounted by simply drilling a large enough hole in the wall (like 3", I used a hole saw) and shoving it in, I then used 3 mirror mounting clips to hold it in place. Spaced 120 dreeges around the face (2 six and 10 O'clock positions)

Thanks. The hole is already there so all I have to do is put the mirror clips on. Great idea. Thanks

I just screwed a fairly large screw into the luan backed wall and used velcro to keep it from moving. Have done that on two clocks and after 9 years they're still there.
