In our new (to us) '05 Itasca, there's a small bulb about the size of a medium shirt button located just above the t.v. in the bedroom. It's mounted through the paneling and has an elec. wire attached. I can't tell where the wire terminates. Anyone have an idea what this small bulb is for and what function it serves?

It terminates in your front entertainment cabinet. There will be 2 located there. One is for the DVD/VCR and it should be placed in front of the remote pickup on the DVD/VCR. The second termination is to control a satellite receiver.

These give you the capabilities to control both the DVD/VCR and a satellite receiver from the bedroom.

I have a second satellite receiver in my front entertainment cabinet that I dedicate to the rear bedroom so my wife can watch her programming.

Thanks Tom!
I won't need the use of this remote capability since I plan to use two Directv receivers. One for the front t.v. and one for the rear t.v. / Larry

If you have a roof sat dish you will need the remote setup because the 2nd sat coax from the roof terminates above your dash near your entertainment cabinet.

I found this 2nd coax and ran it to my entertainment cabinet where my 1st sat receiver is located. I placed a 2nd sat receiver on top of the 1st. I then ran the TV out from the 2nd sat receiver to the AUX IN on the TV coax distribution switch box. This gives me the capability to send the 2nd sat receiver TV signal anywhere, including the bedroom. When I send it to the bedroom it can be remotely controlled with Winnebago's pre-wired eye.

I should add, when using both satellite receivers in the front cabinet, I had to place a small piece of aluminum foil over the remote pickup on the bedroom receiver. This is to keep the front remote from triggering both the front receiver and the bedroom receiver.
