This is in regard to an '05 Itasca class A Ford chassis. I can't open the motor cover. The manual says to turn a hex head bolt counter clockwise to open the cover. There's apparently only the one bolt. I've done that and can raise the back of the cover about an inch but no more. I seems the cover is stuck down hard. I've tried using a prybar to break it loose to no avail. I'm afraid I'm going to crack the fiberglass. Does anyone have advice regarding a means to open the 'doghouse'? Thanks...
Larry

There is a sheet metal screw on each side of the front of the dog house. Remove those and it will come right out.

Yes, the screws can be hard to find. They will be buried in the carpet. Took a lot of feeling around to find mine. Mine is about 1.5 inches from the front and about 1 inch off the floor.

Good luck.
