New to us today, 2005 Adventurer. We had the aux. battery on, the generator running, but no power to either TV or VCR. What are we missing here? I had the inverter switched on just in case too.

Power should be there, did you check your circuit breakers?

That might be an idea. Which ones? Where are they located? Near the exit door?

Don't know about your setup, with the gen running do you have 110 power at any outlet in the MH? I have one power cord that I EITHER plug into a 30 amp outside receptical or into a socket fed from the generator. Just because the gen is running does not mean it is supplying power to the MH.

Another good idea. How about the hair dryer? It worked.

If the gen was running and the hair dryer was working then you have things connected properly. So now if there is no power at the outlet the TV/VCR is plugged into as Dadeaux indicated check the circuit breakers and sorry, no idea where they are in your unit. And I assume that the same situation occurs if you are plugged into external power. Yes?

Check the switch on the ground fault outlet next to the inverter. Mine kicks out from time to time for no apparent reason and shuts the TV down.

Thanks folks, got lots of advice in chat tonight too. I tried the micro and hair dryer and they work. I checked the GFI and reset them, checked the breakers and nothing helps. On gen. power, the Intelligent box panel was not lit up at all. Should it be? The gen. light was on green. Still no power to either TV.

Do you have the ignition turned on? Some models won't let you operate the TV with the ignition on.

That was going to be my question; that or the relay that kills the power to the TV when the key is on is bad.

No ignition was on. Don't know how we would know that issue.

Did you say ignition was off or on as Brian & IJ said TV or VCR will not work if IGNITION SWITCH is on because of relay that cuts off TV when your driving.
Some inverters have a GFI thats on it that trips at times that has to be reset.
The same outlet feeds both TV & VCR off inverter.

No key in the ignition. That's correct. I tried resetting that GFI, no luck.

There's a green indicator light "ext power" on the inverter that should come on when it sees 120v power (generator or shorepower). Is it on? (Assuming you have the stock Dimensions inverter).

Here's a document that may help

Also worth noting is that Winnebago hardwired the output of the inverter to the outlets for both TVs and a plug for a VCR/DVD. They also did NOT use the ignition interupt connection.
