We have a 2008 Winnebago Adventurer with a Waterguard by Shruflow water filter system in the water bay. The O ring broke when taking the canister off. I am not able to locate a replacement O ring. I would appreciate it very much if someone could tell me where to get a replacement. Thanks for the help.

We just had a similar problem - but ours had stretched so much that it would not fit in the groove. I cut the excess carefully and screwed it on tight enough that it resealed properly. Any Winnebago dealer that we talked to could order the rings for us, but the retail package was 10 rings and nobody seemed to want to stock them!

I called ShurFlo customer service at 800-854-3218 and explained the situation and they very willingly sent a replacement o-ring (as well as a spare) to our address.

They are great people to work with................

Thank you for your reply Norm. Our dealer did not have the O ring either and I was not able to locate a replacement on the internet. Lots of places to buy the replacement filter but no O ring. As you suggested, I contacted Shurflo customer service and they are sending me out a free replacement and an extra just in case it happens again. My dealer told me I should have put a little Vaseline on the O ring before screwing on the canister and that would lubricate the O ring and prevent it from stretching or breaking. I will do that when I put on the on the replacement O ring. Thanks for the help.
