My new unit has a scrambled bunch of wires just like the old one.

I pushed that red button, but did not hear a click. So, gotta wait for the 13th.
I did make it to where we could survive until then. Let me take a picture of my "rigged" solution, & I'll post it here in a few minutes.
You couldn't move my coach like this, but it will work, for now. Of course, I will have to take it down this Monday, when I go to get my engine oil changed.

Can anyone say "hillbilly"?
The RV Park said that we could put this thing in, knowing that we were scheduled to have the AC unit serviced.
I made sure that this thing will not hurt our coach.
I realize that it should be sticking out of the window more than what it is, but I don't want the weight of this to be pulling on that wall. It is, as you can see, strapped to our dining table. It's either this, go to a hotel, or burn up.
So, here we are.

The first thing that comes to mind is "GET ER DONE". If it works who cares about the "pretty" part.

Just wouldn't feel comfortable without warning you about CW's very bad reputation for service work...often causing many more problems than you come in with.
But...don't wanna make a blanket assessment just based on their poor nationwide reputation so suggest you check CW and the other local service companies in your area at RVServiceReviews.com. Maybe you found a good CW?
You might also check online or Craigslist in your current area for Mobile RV Techs. Perhaps you can get a tech to pull the unit out of it's cubby and have it waiting for a HVAC tech from a home A/C repair company. Those techs usually don't have a problem working on the unit if it's out of the RV. And by out, I mean sitting on a platform next to the RV. The cables are long enough to leave attached.

What did they do?
Leave the oil plug loose?
Put in the wrong motor oil?

As with anything, do your due diligence and inspect the repair after they say they are finished. If you want to go one step further, take pictures inside the MH and inside the AC area just prior to dropping it off. A local newspaper in each picture with the date and or front page showing would not hurt either. This works well for insurance, they have no recourse with this type of evidence.
I still say that you need to actually trip the breakers and reset them if you have not already done so.

The only breakers that I have seen are in the stairwell, by the entry door.
Are there any more in another location?

A floor model AC from The depot or lowes will do wonders for cooling your unit and it sits on the floor....buy the unit use it to cool while you finish your trip ,,go home sell it on ebay and you might be out 100 bucks ...My daughter cools her basement with one of these units

Are you talking about the one with the hose or hoses that you stick out the window, but the actual unit sits on the floor inside?
If so, does this type of AC get really cold, or kinda cold?
