Whether it has been serviced regularly. How old are the tires? What engine does it have?

Welcome and happy hunting ...

At 18 years old you should expect some issues with both the mechanics and house parts of the unit you are looking at. Have you checked the maintenance records for the engine, transmission, brakes, shocks, etc? Check for signs of roof and window leaks, mold/mildew smells. Then turn on the furnace, stove top, microwave, water heater, fridge(on gas, battery, 110), roof AC, water pump and make sure they all work properly. Any one of these can be expensive to replace or could need adjustments or they may all work just fine. If it has a generator turn it on let it run while you do some of the other tests. Check off everything that works and doesn't work and then you can better decide what you are in for. Good luck.
