New Itasca Suncruiser owner looking to swap out microwave

We've become new owners of a well kept 2002 Suncruiser 35U. I want to replace the Sharp microwave to a new more efficient model. Can anyone suggest a make and model that they have used to do this without getting into extreme mods. We currently have the Sharp R-1850A. Thanks

I installed this microwave in my brothers 06 Suncreiser. Slight modification in the rear bracket.

I do believe that if you research the specs of your current microwave and match the dimensions with your new choice it will interchange well.

Here We Go

Thanks Jesse. After further research I've concluded that most mics are similar in dimension and installation as well. I opted for the GE Aldora at HD and will begin the procedure today so, knowing that I "don't know what I don't know" it should prove to be eventful with hopefully not too many surprises.

I helped remove the Sharp 1850 in my RV years ago.

In addition to the long diagonal bolts on the front bottom there were two bolts/screws that went into the top of it. Had to remove the STAPLED in flooring from the cabinet overtop of the microwave to get to those screws.

It is heavy and bulky. Took two of us to remove it.

Mine had the run 99 second problem caused by a switch internally. Fixed and reinstalled it.
