Hello everyone. I am a new member but have been reading other's posts for several weeks. I want to say 'thanks' for all the great information in this forum, I have already used some of it. Such as, this past week while in Florida my hot water quit flowing (turned cold). Yup, it was one of the dreaded check valves. Incidently they are still installing the ones with plastic inerds, which I removed. This was on the cold water inlet flow. I left the hot outlet check valve in place (so far). I had read about this previously on the forum so I knew just what to do.
Also read a lot of great ideas about "wind noise" and where to look. I have plugged a lot of holes so far based on information in this forum and am still looking. Sooner or later I'll find the spot that's making the whistle sound.
Happy New Year to all and keep the information flowing.
Thanks.

I don't know if you have checked this already however the weep hole covers are notorious for causing wind noise. To check if this is a problem, pop several off and cover the weep holes with some tape and see if your wind noise disappears.

John, welcome to IR2 . As you have discovered, there seem to things often needing 'fixin' of these RV's. The help you can get here is excellent and, like many here, I have saved a bunch of money using help from the fine folks here.

We have a Winnebago owners chat room every Tuesday evening at 9PM EST. Come and join us if you can.

Thanks for the welcome. I will also try to adding helpful hints for others too.
Harry, I have tried covering the the weep holes already. Thanks. My next big step will be to have DW put painter's tape over the whole door including the entry latch then head out to the freeway for some speed tests. This will tell me if the door moldings have a weak spot or not.

John,
Try what I do. Turn the radio up. Then keep time with the accelerator pedal and the whistling will stay in tune.

Actually, I found my mirror to be a culprit on occasion. Also if I get a corner of the curtain caught in the sliding glass window on the driver's side. DW never opens the other one.
