New Rig ~ First Trip Oil Leak
1500 miles on our new to us rig. In Gulf Shores Alabama I noticed an oil drip on the drivers side after visiting mom.
Checked the oil & she was down a quart took her to Walmart & threw my creeper under her & found what appears to be the source of the leak (pictured)
It appears to be coming from where the motor oil cooler lines bolt to the oil cooler up front.
I checked the bolt & she was plenty tight.
Went inside & bought 2 gallons of Synth & got her back to FL peeing out about 2+. quarts while checking every 100 miles.
My next step (guess) is that there are o-rings under the mounting boss & one took a dump?
or
The aluminum boss itself is cracked?
Q: Use only O-Rings or only Gasketed O-ring?
Oh& Thanks!

Glad to have you here in the forum with us. You're gonna like it here.
It would help if you could tell us the model of MH you have. It's easiest to put it in your signature as mine is at the bottom of my post. You'll get more responses that way. You can do it by clicking on the User CP tab at the top of the page and in drop down click signature.
Happy Trails!!!

from WA State.
I don't think there are any "O" rings there.

Workhourse Oil Cooler Reinforced O Rings Leak
When I removed the connection, 2 o-rings pictured were present. Everything else appears in order. My local Napa matched them up. reassembled & ran her up to 2700+ rpm no leak. Bought 2 extra for the RV mobile parts box & am $7.17 cents poorer.
Thanks ~

Glad you got it fixed!
Sorry that you're no longer able to afford that $5 meal deal for lunch today.
