Hi---new member and RV owner here. Our family just bought a used 1994 28' Winnie Minnie DL and I'm hoping a fellow owner can answer a question we have regarding the RV.

When the unit is running we not get warm air blowing out from two circular vents that are below the refrigerator. I believe this is the furnace area but no matter what we do we can not stop warm/hot air from coming into the living area from these vents. It seems strange that this would be "normal" because you are fighting the AC which is trying to cool the living space.

I've tried turning off the thermostat but it could be broken because it doesn't appear to control anything. I'd like to turn off the valve to the furnace but the owner's manual doesn't describe/show where the accessto the furnace valve is within the unit.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on a possible solution. Thanks

On some class A's Winnebago has an option called MotorAid that circulates engine coolant through a heat exchanger on the water heater and a small radiator with a fan that provides heat in the rear of the motor home while you are driving.
There is a high - low - off switch on the dash that controls the fan.

I don't know if the option was/is available on class C's or not but if so that might be your problem.

I agree with ClayL.

If you go here:1994 Catalog Menu

and select your model, you'll find all kinds of information. A quick glance at one of the minnie dl's showed a rear heater.
