About three months after picking up a new Winnebago Tour I started to slip a DVD into the player . . . and it don't work. No power. The TV and the DVD share a single electrical wall socket and I swapped the plugs in the sockets confirming both had power but the DVD remained dead. Power on/off switch has no affect, no red pilot light, nothing and no public access to a fuse.

Any ideas? We have the 40TD floorplan and the TV and player are midship. I plan to call Winnebago for a hint on Monday and I recognize this would be a dealer item except the selling dealer is in another state, but I do have another local choice.

I'm on my 3rd DVD player in my rig. Yours should be under warranty I expect within your 1st year of ownership. Call Winnebago Customer Service and ask them how you should proceed. If this is something that can best be resolved by a stop at Best Buy/Costco/Sam's Club ... just about any DVD will do.

When we bought our 07 Ellipse TD, the auto satellite would not work. Contacted the manufacturer direct, and they shipped a new one to me, so I didn't have to make a return trip to the selling dealer (3 hours away). I would think Winnebago would be happy to furnish you with a new unit, and then have you return the old one to them..............

PS Purchased ours a John Bleakley (Atlanta) they were awesome, and over 20 grand better price than the local Winne dealer in the Knoxville area.....just FYI.
