No gas gauge on propane tank

I have a Winnebago 2005 Aspect. There no pressure gauge at the tank to tell me how much propane is in tank. I do have the LED meter inside but not sure if it is working.

Can you add a gauge at tank of some device to let me know how may gallons or pounds?

Here's one way..
Amazon.com: 21st Century B47A Stick-On L.P. Fuel Gauge: Patio, Lawn & Garden

Pour HOT water on the tank and you can feel the fuel level.

Pour a stream of near-boiling water down the side of the tank. Wait a few seconds and then run your hand up from the bottom of the tank until the temperature changes suddenly and that will be the liquid level.

NO pressure gauge will ever tell you how much LIQUID is in the tank, the pressure gauges only say "Full of gas" or "Empty" there is no in between.

Now, Float gauges, like I have,, those tell you the liquid level.

Camping world, Most every BBQ store, Hardwares, Lowes, Home Depot, Wal*Mart _______. all carry an LCD color strip that either has double stick tape backing or magnetic backing.

You attach it to the tank

You put a pan of water on the stove to boil

You pour the hot water over the tape

It tells you where liquid ends and gas begains

Way better than any other gauge made.

Oh, why won't a pressure gauge give you anyting but EMPTY/NOT EMPTY?

Well all it sees is the vapor pressure of the propane, which is a function of how hot it is, not how full it is. Tank full, temp's -45 Pressure = zero

Tank has 3 oz liquid propane, temps 100, full pressure.
Tank has 20 gallons, Temps 100, Full pressure, same as if it had 3 ounces.

That simple.
