Anyone know of a bulb number for a replacement? My 6182 in my 1994 Winne Adventurer 32RQ is sans bulb and I can't find a bulb number anywhere (including Norcold's website).

Thanks in advance for any help.

According to the Winnebago catalog, the part number for the light kit on the Norcold 6182 is 104137-08-01A.

Right...I did find that. I am however just looking for the bulb if it is replaceable by itself.

Sorry about that.

Does the bulb look like this? Many of the Norcolds use this bulb. If so, you can purchase a GE equivalent locally for about two bucks or so.

If it looks like the first one, I've see some like that at Autozone. May not be the same wattage, but it might work.

Bought the MH w/o a bulb in place so I don't have one to look at unfortunately. I appreciate your suggestions though and, for a few bucks, will just go buy the GE equivalent you recommend and see if it works.

Again...thanks for the suggestions!

Look for the GE 214-2 at Autozone or O'Reilly's.

Picked it up today. It is definitely NOT the right bulb for the 6182!

Appreciate all the help Dunner...

I'm struggling with that as I have nothing to reference to regarding the right bulb. My Norcold PN for the whole light assembly (61771022) is a discontinued item so not even Thetford/Norcold can give me much info on what the bulb looked like.

The GE bulb has metal tips on both ends with small 'handles' that look like they would contact and clip in the light fixture at both ends.

The best I can see in my fixture there is a cylindrical opening where a bulb would either screw in (I can't see or feel threads) or snap in on ONE side of the bulb.

I would really appreciate it if someone out there with a 6182 and working light could pop their bulb out and take a picture. A bulb number would of course be even better but I may be shooting for the moon there.

Sigh...it's the little things sometimes that take the most time, no?

Just looking at the picture linked to above of the GE 214-2 that is definitely not the bulb I was provided. Maybe the NAPA clerk fished the wrong bulb out for me?

The one I got looks like this:

Is that pic of the one he gave you or the one you already have?

If it is the right length, it should work. The ones I have seen and what is in my MH has pointed ends. The wire ends on that are the same as having points. I think. If it is like mine, it goes between two straight copper bars with small holes in the center. That make sense?

That's the one I got at NAPA. I didn't have the original (or any) bulb in the fridge when I bought the MH recently.

The bulb didn't want to connect when I tried it last night but maybe I just didn't get it oriented right. Will try again tonight and report back.

Can you take a picture of the socket? There are several types.
