The service manual may or may not mention the problem with dirty DC voltage. We have had some issues with converters putting out dirty DC and causing the control boards on refrigerators to shut down on a fault. The fix is to replace at least the charging section of the converter. I am not saying this is the problem, just that it is a possiblity. If the unit will work on a charged batttery, not plugged into shore power or have a generator running, but shortly faults out when shore power is used this could be the reason.
